Have stayed in many four and five star bath hotels visited. This is one of the best. The diversity of food at the buffet (always warm, very nice and partly prepared freshly prepared). Specialty restaurants also recommendable. The cleanliness of the restaurant (always cleaning, Gardners, lifeguard, painter, etc. on the way). If to ballermann-similar entertainment especially at the weekend in the pool the area was fun, does not have to be the extensive, beautiful and public beach to evade. There are plenty of chairs available, also some shade trees. We did this, also, because the water in the large pool is not refreshing. Beautiful Walks along the beach are highly recommended, you can howler monkeys, birds, sometimes even Turtles (old at dusk in the oviposition, young in the hatch) watch.

This was in accordance with the RIU-Investments in Puerto Plata and sunny beach our third RIU-all-inclusiveArea, so we are due to the US known 'mass processing' the absolutely recommendable TUI tour 'jungle, Feuerkegen Tucane -with reservations and went for it. As for the pool it was constantly overcrowded (and the manager told me they only had 500 rooms filled out of the 701) and there are only 2 bars for the entire pool/beach area (yes, you will wait for a drink).
