The bad reviews I can absolutely not understand. The hotel is really recommendable. The food was always good and plenty of choice. We must not forget, is that it is located in Jamaica. You can not compare with a 5 star luxury hotel in Europe and should also corresponding adjust your expectations. The complex is very well maintained, the beach was simply fabulous. In comparison to the riu Palace hotel in Punta Cana, the food is not five star. The guest-mix predominantly USA and Canada. Unfortunately, there were our suite two times a cockroach in our bathroom, a shame. Read more

So, we stayed a week at the secrets wild orchid and nine days in this party bunker. I should like to make really no rise hotel bad, but I'm just very much and am also a small riu fan, but disappointed as in this hotel I have never been. I have stayed in four palace of the riu chain, but this is really none. It was converted to palace (abgeblich). I think the theme restaurants and the shower if you have a late flight. The hotel is very nice, spacious area, lots of shady spots at the beach with palm trees and trees (very important, because there were no sunshades on the beach) sufficient beach chairs available at the beach and pool. A bit annoying beach vendors are only (you don't need shop go, you can buy everything on the beach), the tout sadly partly loudly their products. Food was very delicious and very varied.
