The hotel in a prime old town location in the Royal mile has the best location for a city trip. The sights of the city are all within walking distance reachable. The hotel looks from the outside not nearly as big as it is. The path from the elevator to the room can also be corresponding. Our room was very well equipped, there was little storage space. The bathroom is very spacious with lots of counter space. The cleaning service was top the breakfast was excellent. You found on the buffet various bread and cakes, ham and sausages, several ty... The hotel is located on the royal mile location, very central to all kinds of attractions including the St Giles' cathedral or the about 500 meters behind the Edinburgh castle... Hotel is very attractive as long as you don't walk into your room.
Condition & cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired.
Z. B.: broken ceiling, heavily damaged and in the overflow of the sink developed Biokulturen. Read more

From the outside as the very attractive hotel. We felt very comfortable. Rather middle aged.
Spacious rooms, very modern but not cold. Minibar, bath, TV, tea making facilities, trouser press and iron were available. Very clean.
Nice staff, but very cold and distant. More of a business hotel at best.
Had breakfast included. The buffet is relatively expensive, if no meat. We were put in the bar and the drink arrived after about 30 minutes to order in us.
Right in the middle of the old town with many choices are the walkable grid. Read more

The hotel is centrally located. The size of the rooms is good. At the very lively atmosphere at breakfast you will have to get used to, however, it is all very fast and the restaurant staff is very friendly and considerate. Read more
