The Ramada is located directly in Gastown, in the oldest district Vancouver. It is not far to the harbor. You can stay in the city all walkable from here. At routes you take the Sky Train or bus. All stops can be found in the immediate vicinity. The rooms were big enough. They usually have even bigger in Canada with two double beds, but the two twin beds in our rooms also have enough. Medium sized hotel slightly dated but clean condition. Breakfast included.
There are very different types of rooms. The biggest difference is in the windows. Some rooms have no daylight as only a narrow gap separates the wall of the next. If you have a room on the street, but a good view but is it was a little noisy.
Front desk very friendly and helpful.
Take a laptop!
Breakfast ok to good by North American standards. The room is not comfortable (in the basement) but alright.

Our room had a window would not open and the nearest Hausmauer was no meters away. With my parents had a window where you could open but they were also right a wall in front. The Zmorgen is served in the basement area you do not have placed daylight because no window is max. Can around 25 people sharing food. The Zmorgen coffee, toast, apple and cereal with milk.
