A little old hotel right next to the cathedral. Great location with lots of shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Very good, central location in the city center of Freiburg. Internet access was not possible. Elevator was shut down twice and then completely. The check-in process was easy.
Shower cubicle was not fully close. (A door defectively.)
The service I can only describe as a disaster. Even by the hotel management from there were only a few to no effort to remedy the deficiencies.

The price/performance ratio didn't match!
If you, like us, got a room facing the market, then you have the weekend geloosed 'times'! The cathedral left-without a break-the night by distinctly heard, which has beaten the clock. Since my husband and I only stayed for a weekend in Freiburg, we chose a hotel in the centre.
The hotel rappen is located right next to the cathedral and shopping in the immediate vicinity of the.
The rooms are very nicely equipped, bright and well maintained. Very likely they recently remodeled.
The entire staff was nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and wide.
The tram is located in the immediate vicinity, as well as the mall. The train station is about 15 minutes walk.

The sink in the room was cracked and worn out spots. The curtain rod fell down at the open. The wallpaper in the room was faded. The breakfast buffet was reasonably okay. The rate of 144.(Double room) I think €and not comprehensible for which performance. Read more
