The hotel makes a fine impression, it seemed very individually designed and not some subject to the fashionable trends. Even the front desk consists of a-obviously-ancient standing and seemed a bit inappropriate. In short: furniture and equipment of the old school.

The hotel is very centrally located right on the edge of the pedestrian zone. Cafes, restaurants, shopping possibilities were in the immediate vicinity. The train station is 800 meters within walking distance to about street within easy reach. The room (single room) was nicely decorated, it was clean and there was nothing to complain about. The vent in the bathroom is very noisy and can only with the help of the Zentralschalters will be turned off. On being asked if it was always like that was the reply came yes. Mattresses were totally hard, fair game for us! Funny was the car-lift to the parking in the garage (13€ per night) room without breakfast: 100€ per night not worth it. The location of the hotel is ideal (Garni): in a small side street, about 50 meters from the old town, the pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. The cosy lobby, the elevator and nice breakfast room promise much more, than the condition of the rest of the hotel can keep.
