We have, in spite of the not so good review on hrs, booked this hotel and didn't regret it. Completely on the contrary! We just couldn't understand, that we are unhappy home runs. The hotel is spectacular location, the staff really friendly and helpful, value for money(Hrs! Cancel) was found to be an absolute plus. This is now our place to stay for our next trips to Hamburg. We were for the second time at the Renaissance hotel in Hamburg. This time was not only the location of the hotel top, but also everything within of the hotel.
we were in a deluxe room accommodated, which was a good size had. You can tell the bathroom the age of the hotel, but it was still in good renovated condition.
Absolutely great was the restaurant-recommendation a small Italian restaurants nearby ( many thanks!).

Our second stay in this hotel ran exactly smooth and pleasant as our first before about 5 years. The location of the hotel is, if one Hamburg center or for example Concerts in the laeiszhalle want to visit, first class. Our car us of a friendly Doorman and safely parked. It was possible, already at 10:00 in the morning our room to relate, which was not large, but for a night the best equipped and very neat and clean. We again asked, why one per person regularly for such a breakfast 25 euros pay should. It was rather 'just' kept. There was cheese, the in every supermarket packaged can buy, only a small selection of marmelade(3). So therefor 25 euros and I would have been really annoyed.
Furthermore, that the cleaning lady a Sunday already at 9:30 o'clock angekopft and also equal the door opened. We think this is just'cheeky' and it is not for us the, what we from such a hotel in the category be. Read more
