The hotel itself was very nice and the beds rooms are equipped with standard (2mx2m) king size of absolute hammer. Shop you can just around the corner and the centre it is also only a ten minute walk. Taxi to the airport costs about 23-25 euros. Food (breakfast) was not great and not bad... A very high average. Dinner is therefor very delicious! The bathroom was unfortunately not a four stars standard-mold in the corners and edges, the shower was unfortunately from every corner the water. The hotel has a great location, right in the city! You are immediately on the gänsemarkt, the Alster lake or the town hall, everything is within walking distance! Had booked without breakfast, since 24, -€ per nose: every morning in the cafe melange, right around the corner at the Alster canal for breakfast and could sit in the sun! Traveled with the car: Parking on site cost 25, -€ per night in the neighboring Hotel 24, -€ per night, but otherwise during the week nothing to do! At check-in my over 80 year old parents, the 4-day stay for my birthday gave, which I heard with horror, that a deposit of €200-deposit could, alternatively a right, not had in their possession. Even if the hotel has a negative experience, it is unfair to imply, with serious, old people (architect couple) a fraud
suspect!

We chose this hotel for our city trip and were not disappointed. Due to the Sonderpreises for the 'normal' standard rooms, very friendly and professional staff and the location close to the lake and the hotel for us first choice. We look forward to the next time. Read more
