The hotel is a short walk from the beach, but the hotel has 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool. All of the staff are very welcoming and have made our holiday. There is a good animation programme including archery, water polo, aerobics etc; There is an evening entertainment with shows put on by staff and outside dancers, fire eatrers etc. There is always a goode variety of food in the restaurant, with the best buns and cakes, I have had anywhere. Cleaned every day and flowers put on the bed, with different towel sculptures All of the staf... Read more

Interesting quotes from the reviews

Hotel in general

  • beautiful hotel
  • best holiday
  • enjoyable stay
    • in June 10
the food may have been a bit of a challenge to some, but if you are adventurous there is plenty, it is all buffet style, the staff are incredibly friendly, and most go out of their way for you, the bar staff in particular are friendly, you dont get premium drinks on all in but again it was fine, as it is a french speaking african country it attracts a lot of french tourists, but most locals also speak english,, you will be hassled in the Medina (market) even as you go to your rooms, but then i dont know any souk/madina/market where you are not, its all part of the culture, there is a section on the beach for this hotel, it does have a bar, but for all inc, you can just get soft drinks and water, also if tv is part of your holiday, then the only engish channel is the dreadful CNN, but we didnt spend too much time watching tv, all in all we had a good holiday, thought it great value for money, bit of a long drive from Monastair to resort, about 90mins, plenty of other resturants to eat in if hotel buffet not to your taste, would certainly reccomend the hotel if you dont want the bog standard hotel and room.
  • good hotel

Room

  • cleaned rooms
  • comfortable rooms
    • in June 10
we had a good balcony, not 100% that all rooms balconies.
  • overlooked pool balcony
  • pool view room
    • in June 10
this is a large hotel, spread over the whole of the medina, so room can take some time to walk to, but found that to be part of the charm, it is a new Medina made to look old, but still pleasant, however plenty of cobbles on the walkways so be careful if you are unsteady on your feet, the rooms are very spacious, we had an apartment, seperate bathroom, lounge, kitchen bathroom and balcony, very big, and bright cleaned every day, furniture may have been a little dated, but was certainly ok.
  • spotlessly clean and cleaned daily balcony
  • balcony apartment
  • Filthy and dirty furniture
  • hard beds

Location

  • 5 minute walk beach
