We stayed at the April of last year with friends in the hotel Rethymnon Mare. We were at the front desk welcomed in a friendly manner. We were given a very large rooms. Unfortunately this was very shady. On request we were given immediately a other, bright room with a large balcony. The staff the allocation of a other room friendly and 2 days asked, whether the new room uS law. we had all inclusive and were for the price very surprised at the rich buffet and the whole day. Beach: way to the beach not ideal as a underpass goes through the main street which was also partly from cars traffic. So you have to take in particular children on one hand servicing guard. Area: Very nice area with great garden, nearly everything only be reached by the steps, only at the bottom is down a "ramp" to the rooms. Pool: The pool is done by hand chlorinated ( they didn't look very professional) and the cleanliness could have been a bit better ( water completely renew). ... since we could better food in the city, Rethymno n was approximately 45 minutes by bus, the bus rides are costs 1.50 euros, you should time, otherwise you couldn't do anything, the beach is very schöecht and full of großern stones like where you would rather not walk. Those who don't can walk or don't like to walk should avoid this hotel it is very high and the rooms are arranged on a hill which also very steep up or down. We had booked another hotel, which was a good luck at arrival date smoit was full, we walked in to this hotel very nice quiet and tranquil location, if you have children could go to top of a huge pool where only famileien with children pool chairs, downstairs is further pool where more the older generation is located, very quiet and silent and for the family rooms there was also a Sepereaten pool and a children's pool .
