Hotel Riviera

The hotel as such was very good, the food was good, the rooms were large enough, and clean, newly renovated, the view from the terrace over the Gulf of Naples was fantastic. However, our room was at the back with a view of a wall (ivy). I believed I recall, when Thomas cook 'with a partial view of the sea' booked. The hotel is recommended in any case! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for excursions in the Gulf of Naples; it is easy to get from the port, on the Circumvesuvia-train and the bus station. That is why you can even without a car, the Hotel parking lot aren't enough spaces has. The food in the restaurant very good quality, unfortunately there is no court in the main for vegetarians. Very well located Grand Hotel in a fantastic location. To the previous reviews there is not much to add. Very positive is the fantastic food, negatively are high and the extra charges due to its proximity to the harbor occasionally dirty (depending on the current) sea. Read more

We spent a wonderful week at the Grand hotel Riviera. The hotel is located on a steep coast in a absolute dream location high above the sea. The hotel has a breathtaking view to the Vesuvius. The comfortable hotel with pleasant atmosphere is an ideal starting point to the sights. The train station is not far away, one is with the circumvesuviana station to Pompeii or Naples also.
