We visited the Royal Palace on a stopover in Platamonas and were very pleasantly surprised. The beautiful new hotel is situated directly in the small harbour of the village. There are enough parking spaces in front of the hotel facing the harbour (not the street side). During our stay there were very few guests in the house. The inexpensive suite, which we received, was unusually large and really nicely decorated and very tasteful. Great facilities: living room with very comfortable couch, a huge double bed, two (!)
