The Hotel Royal is a older hotel in the heart of Vienna, directly at the Stefan space, ideal for a city break. The rooms are a bit unlovingly equipped and a little new paint wouldn't hurt. The service was in order, apart from the time on the roof terrace. Here is urgent action hip and this condition has not been established only from our group, but also from other guests. Read more

We were happy at the Hotel Royal. We can only recommend it. Breakfast could have been better-more variety. The dining room is quite small for so many guests. Room to the street is quite loud-you do not hear much from the stephansplatz-but you can sleep with air conditioning. Read more

For a city break this hotel is ideal. Central you can actually not at all. The hotel is directly located next to st. Stephen's cathedral. Underground station in immediate nearby. The bathrooms are new, the rooms a bit plush, but you feel quite comfortable. In August the temperatures were around 30-35 °C in the Vienna. At night it was unbearably hot in our room, despite air conditioning. Due to a massive complaint, the service in the hotel restaurant (roof), we were invited to in the sister hotel to eat. Good Hotel in best location. You can do this from the hotel on foot or by underground.
From the rooftop restaurant you can see the Cathedral in the immediate vicinity.
Although the Hotel lies in the center, it is very quiet.
