Perfectly adequate for a city vacation. Pleasantly surprised of the condition of the room (apparently recently renovated) and the cleanliness of all areas. Daily change of the hand towels and beach towels are for a hotel in the 3-star category not to be expected, the royal is the standard. Other good points: (a) the breakfast buffet is above average - wide selection and all good quality (b) better than average staff - I was given a range of street and subway maps etc when I checked in and throughout my stay the staff seemed genuinely eager to provide good service (c) overall value was very good - apparently Munich is the most expensive city in Germany but you wouldn’t know it from the rates this hotel charges. - in August 11
