Small and personally managed city hotel with 15 individually designed rooms with reference to feng shui with every comfort.
Hotel location
Facing to the 'Badischer Bahnhof' (German Railway station), 4minutes from the 'Messe Basel' (fair place and congress center), 6minutes by tram from old town (public transportation is free for all our guests by a mobility ticket).
Service at the hotel
Cleanness and personality are our highest principles - but of course we do as well all to offer you every comfort you need for a good stay and night in our hotel rooms.
Gastronomy in the hotel
The small breakfast buffet is included in all room rates.
For lunch or diner we suggest the new japanese restaurant Minamoto in the same building (www.minamoto-restaurant.ch).
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
At the Olympia Fitness & Wellness Studio around the corner you have the opportunity to use the Bodybuilding Room and/or the Sauna.
In the neighbourhood in direction of the river 'Rhein' or also in the natural area of the 'Lange Erle' you will find a lot of possibilities for jogging, biking or also swiming (ice skating in the winter time).
Some of the biggest and most known museeums you can reach easily from the hotel and as well the famous Musical theatre in Basel you will join in 7minutes from here.

Each of the 15 non-smoking rooms has air-conditioning, flat screen TV, telephone with direct dial facility, multi-language answering machine, fax, small fridge with soft drinks and safe. As well every room has a Nespresso coffee machine and a tee boiler. WIFI/Wireless-LAN is free of charge in all rooms.

The Royal is heavily influenced by modern styling and decorated with clean simple lines and bold artwork. The hotel offers a complete service with great rooms, nice breakfast, free wifi, and great service.
The rooms are the best thing about the Royal. The are extremely spacious by any hotel standards and some of them are outright huge.
