... towns in Italy my boyfriend and I were at July this year for three nights at the Hotel Royal , and it was by far the worst hotel experience, we had the experience. The hotel itself is not the problem, although there were more appearance than based on (for example: the building itself was nice, but with pseudo-old 'art' and furniture defaced; or: there is a swimming pool, but only for a small extra charge and is already in the early evening closes-for city tourists not). Unfortunately the shine has deteriorated since our last visit ten years ago. Staff has not shone through hospitality. Hotel lies with the adjoining car park (price at the upper limit) very good. Beautiful old city with a lot of atmosphere-a big plus was the parking spaces directly in front of the door (cost: 20 €per night additional)-however after adventurous journey good to know that you don't have to look for parking (that is probably impossible ☺ In about 15 minutes you can walk to the centre of this beautiful city and with all its sights. The property itself is beautiful, the staff at the front desk was rather slow and only partially friendly. Read more

The appointment of two glass of red wine with Signore Francesco (by one of its owner-friends as 'the concierge grazy 'described) we tabled an interesting lecture on Tuscan wines, as well as the courtesy' delights 'getting a number of winemakers art of the region. His restaurant recommendations are priceless, and: he has announced it is not just our phone in the restaurant, he has served the host right, what wine they want to give us...
Thus: far above-average service at the Palazzo ambience. We loved it. Read more
