Situated in the heart of the city on the quiet Salzach promenade the Hotel Sacher Salzburg offers an impressive view of the Hohensalzburg fortress and the old town. It is the city's Grand Hotel, and has been the very center of social life since its opening in 1866. In 1988, the hotel was taken over by the Guertler family and complements the Hotel Sacher Wien perfectly.
All rooms have been furnished and decorated individually, with much attention to detail. Besides modern amenities, such as wireless internet access, digital TV with flat screens and individually adjustable air conditioning, they feature antique furniture and original paintings. The restaurants, the elegant Sacher Bar and the Cafe Sacher add to its individual character and charm.

Beautiful Hotel, located directly on the Salzach river is located. We had a nice room with a great view of the old town. During festival time, not cheap. We ate at the restaurant and it was very good. Great service. All very nice. Always again with great pleasure. Read more

I visited the hotel Sacher with my friend in January. Fortunately, I had booked very early, so that we a room directly with view on the Salzach river and the old town have gotten Salzburg. The view was simply fantastic. The hotel itself has its five stars absolutely deserved, although our reservation was lost down for the dinner. If you visit Salzburg, the hotel is still before the nearby Bristol in my opinion, the first choice-except during the festival, while the prices also in the golden deer once again strongly. Read more

I was recently on a Vorweihnachtswochenende with my wife at the Sacher. A very nice, well-kept traditional with very friendly, attentive staff and a dignified, very elaborated decor, the tradition of the house.
Location: right next to the Salzach river vis a vis the old town with its shopping/dining all offered, in five minutes to reach fußlüfig over two bridges.

The hotel Sacher in Salzburg offers great service with typical Austrian charm. The staff recognizes its guests, she speaks with name and is always at the right time on site.
