Hotel Santa Marina

Central, but nevertheless very quiet location, no hustle and bustle of the nearby hotel area. We had room 301 on the third floor of the main building and were very satisfied. Service in the hotel and cleanliness the room was excellent. The breakfast was very plentiful, however missing after a few days the variety, in other words, a breakfast buffet resembled the other but very. To complain about is, that the in-house Wi-Fi net didn't work (at least with my I-phone the dial up not possible) and the use the computer hotel guests was on Faceboo... Read more

The hotel is located in the middle of city and is therefore ideally to explore the city on foot. The next Vaporetto -stop is Rialto, in between a hike from 5 to 10 minutes.
The room was clean, very nicely furnished but extremely small. The double bed with its 1,40 meters Width very comfortable, the closet too small for our things and in the bathroom you had to get through a 30 centimeters width 'gap' between washbasin and fireplace(?) constraints, in the shower to get.
The breakfast was good - nothing special, but also nothing to fault.

We slept in the neighboring building, which for us not a problem was. Very quiet Corner and yet not far away from the Realto and Marcus capacity. For breakfast I have a variety of pastryand cakes undoing cost, the very good tastes have. Sometimes some noise from the room about us heard. Read more

The hotel is a bit dated, but you can clearly all the charm and glamour of the past days imagine! In the bathroom the mold wide! In the minibar was a rusted bottle opener! Mirror and lamps hit! Dust and moths in the room! The four stars and 90-500 €per night prices not happen! The reception staff could be more friendly. The location was ideal, very central but still very quiet. The breakfast was very good, rich and of high quality. We wouldn't book this hotel again, but it was only for one night and who wants to stay in Venice in the hotel? Read more
