We chose this hotel because of its location. The view over the lake königssee (small surcharge) is unbelievable! Our room was on the second floor and you had the impression on the balcony, you have a Norwegian Fjord in, truly one of a kind. Otherwise the room, I have to agree with previous reviews, was a bit old, but clean! Location is great, but hardly positive-the breakfast was very basic, a lot of uncooled, bathroom very small and staff was not friendly, a shame. We can't recommend. Read more

We became acquainted with the hotel in May 2010 at a club flight.
The location can't be beat, right on the lovely, for the check in you have to go by car or in our case bus through the pedestrian area of schönau.
The hotel made a very good impression from the outside.
The lobby is a little dark.
On the whole, the hotel is pretty good. An elevator is available.
Our room was very large, we had a living room area, as well as a separate Bedroom and a relatively large bathroom.

We only stayed one night to extend our vacation. booking worked just fine, have a very nice, large room ( 17 ) with lake view rooms are divided with big balcony. Price was ok and the staff is very nice. The room itself was a bit antique ( old built-in closet), but fully functional. What has already been mentioned here, gave us a bit irritated: windows and balcony need a Renovierungsanstrich will receive, otherwise lazy you soon way ... This is the best hotel on the Lake Konigsee with a view over the Lake Konigsee. Well, this hotel is not a 4 star hotel with spa and restaurant. But it's a eein cozy hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Konigsee. The hotel is a bische older and needs a facelift but for the price it is a good deal. It is right next to Berth for cruises to St. Bartholomew and Öbersee.
