Very nice hotel in a great park. The excellent location, just off the beaten track from the hustle and bustle of the city center but with good transport connections, and the great views are absolutely incredible. In the very tastefully appointed guest rooms we didn't miss anything. We had a room in Kavaliershaus. For breakfast we needed about 50 meters walk through the park. But the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Read more

Ideal starting point for a great stay, in a direction with the tram into the center (until late evening), the other to pillnitz castle. The location above the Elbe is great, only in the November of course a bit foggy. In the dark is a quick drive to the entrance past. This house should be able to afford a larger lit sign on the road.
The castle has five stars. We stayed at the guest house (three-star) in a large suite. The walk through the park to the breakfast is only when it rained unpleasant.

The hotel was made up as already described by the castle and the cavalier building. I stayed in the cavalier building. The hotel was surrounded by a great park area and had a beautiful view of Dresden and the Elb valley.
I wouldn't describe the hotel as handicap friendly as the castle and cavalier building were only reached over steps (at least I saw no other options).
I had a room on the top floor in the cavalier building. These rooms had two floors, in the lower area the entrance area, the bathroom and a living room with sofa... Read more

The location and the ambience of the hotel are to be highlighted, great view of the Elbe, nice green grounds and the ambiance of a castle. To complement the other reviews: because of the construction of passing the tram runs currently not more to the hotel ( Schienenersatzverkehr bus ride). Unfortunately, this means that the stop was moved and therefore a about 500 meters, stonier, dusty road next to the building site travel. Also the traffic is affected by the miles of construction. Room was exclusively a addressed but very small. At the end of the bed together they wanted to resemble a had to the side. We were not out front and so it was always dark, because tree outside the window. TV too small - Diagonal 30cm. Bathroom was spacious, even enough closet space. We were overly elated after great breakfast and champagne (not free, though) to forget our passports and wallets in the safe, and when called to the hotel, they've found it and were willing to ship to Berlin, but due to the holiday we chose to return to pick it up; all was ready and intact.
