The suites are in a very bad condition. It starts with stained carpets at, goes beyond dirty wallpaper and ends at blew away tiles in the bathroom on. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be leftover (not properly cleaned bathrooms with soap remainders, hair on the beds etc.) the interior fittings is in a miserable state. The schlosshotel captivates mainly by lots of Charme, idyllic location with wonderful views (of the line apart) and in my view almost perfect and friendly service. Since I verzeiche, that the rooms were really not up-to-date anymore are. The Kempinski group here. However, the rooms are very large, very clean and in this regard, the star classification. We had the Junior Suite which was awesome - really really spacious, a toilet AND a bath, great view of the Rhine river, whirlpool-bathtub, gigantic tv set, own key for the swimming pool.

It is probably because it is part of a chain, but still, it does not warant that kind of surcharge when the rooms are not cosy or warm, the lighting is dim, there is only 1 channel in english and oen in french, the rest ( 100's) being in german, etc.
