We have the three days we really enjoyed. We love to stay there again. Everything was great. The food, the room, also the bar. Also the swimming pool was great. The village could have been a bit more remodeling, but we liked it. Read more

I thought the hotel was in a great location in relation to the town, lifts, shops, restaurnats. We rarely needed to take a cab anyplace. The hotel had enough rooms of various views and locations to the lobby that made you feel like you had optins if you wnated to make a change. The staff were very friendly and assisted us many times during our stay.
We enjoyed our room very much. It had a nice balcony with a view out to the town and the slopes across the street. There was a small seating area that was just the right size.

My room was size of a shoe box and the bathromm even smaller - also very noisy.
Lobby and restaurant very dated and need a refurb.
Had previously been at an Arabella Sheraton in Cape Town so had higher expectations - appreciate that Davos is a different location, but very unimpressed. Read more

this was the nicest poshest place we stayed in and with discounts, and careful choice of dates was really not that expensive. They had everything. It was superb. The check-in people were great. Housekeeping marvellous. Ah yes, the only negative is that as a older hotel (not that you could tell from the modern everything) they had to be careful with what electrical things you had in your room, so I don't think you could iron for yourself, and I don't think they had tea/coffee maker, but they had a huge tv, and a huge fruit platter in the room... There is the older part with lots of little sitting rooms, a library and a hunters/sking lodge style resturant which are lovely and the food was very good quality and value, but the area around reception is more modern and there seems to be a larger more modern resturant in the centre of the hotel which lacks the character of the rest of the hotel.
