The sliding glass door was broken and couldn’t be locked; the maintenance department came over very quikcly and made a temporary fix, however someone could have easily pulled hard on the door and get in.

The Shangri-La is located on a gorgeous island on the coral coat (about 1 hour outside of Nadi) we found the resort to have everything we required and did not leave the resort for the week.

Food was ok,buffet style in the lagoon rest,breakfast was good but the buffet in the evening was a little overpriced (unless you stuffed yourself with lots of different dishes-which some people did!

the only good experience we had was walking about a 10 min walk out of the resort across the causeway to restaurant called gheckos which was fantastic, the food great, good price and they have free fiji entertainment every sunday night i think, we ended up going 3 nights in a row.
