It is a very large, very nice planned resort, directly on its own, very long and clean sandy beach. We had booked a room in the ocean wing. In advance we had requested by email for a quiet room and also got one. The room was very well appointed and very well thought through, which you can say many hotel rooms (for example numerous, well fitted storage space, a safe, the at eye level and a lavish bathroom with a huge shower...). Guests of the ocean wing can use its own pool, which is only available to them. It is much quieter than the main po... Read more

The hotel was a beautiful area, which alone is far and wide, this means you are more or less on the food in the evening at the existing dependant. Unfortunately this a lot to be desired. The taste was the chef for our opinion, not very well trained, if at all, the same goes for the dining of the offer of dishes. During our stay there was every day, but every day the same thing for breakfast. You chose the quality and taste of the food at the buffet, so it seemed, that there was only one type of rice was, no pasta as an alternative-and it was... Read more

After a beautiful Sarawak-tour we chose this hotel as a place to rest and relax. Large rooms and pleasant service corresponded to a 5-star hotel. In the buffet restaurant offer the not so often, should have had more variety. Ideal for relaxation of the pool and beach area. Pleasant beach chairs, umbrellas and shade trees in addition to an excellent service (free water, from time to time " schmankerl " to try, wireless) invite you to relax. A visit to the adjacent orang-utan-Aufzuchtstation is a must. five young animals are now ausgewildert a... Read more

Beautiful resort the 2 Superior Garden Rooms that we had booked were lovely although we decided to upgrade to 2 Ocean Wing (OW) Rooms which were absolutely amazing the best I have ever stayed in, huge with an equally huge balcony with a double bath and loungers, you could book a butler to run theme baths for you such as bubbles for young ones or rose petals and oils for couples.

After a bong to announce our arrival, we were directed to some comfortable chairs and given drinks and cold towels to combat the 28+ degree heat that greeted us in Borneo, whilst we waited for a member of the welcoming team to come and check us in.
