Hotel Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort - Al Waha

A very nice hotel with a pool landscape and wonderful Palm Trees! The staff are very, very nice, considerate and accommodating. It is located about 30 minutes outside of the capital Muscat in the middle of from mountains. A shuttle bus of the hotel drives several times in the capital (souq and market). The park with a wonderful Palms and comfortable pool chairs and sonnensegeln, borders directly at the beach. The hotel is as far as reasonable, but: The five stars must be earned. The cleanliness in the public rooms has shortcomings on-it is partially waste ( for example Cotton swabs, etc..). In the corridor rum, the only after 1 to 2 days cleared. The toilets with the beach only once cleaned daily - one can imagine, as these already at lunchtime looks: Completely with sand dirty, everything is wet, there is a lack of soap, towels, etc.. The hotel Al Waha is one of the three hotels in the area of Shangri-la's bar Al Jissah resort & Spa. This luxury hotel was the absolute worst at the end of our Oman-tour. A hotel like in rock ripped off, with every luxury, which you could want. We will certainly be back again. This hotel is excellent moderate and one of the best hotels, in which we have ever been to. At the end of our trip to Abu Dhabi and Oman a very relaxing beach stay at the Shangri-la, the most important thing for a stay with children can recommend. Only drawback-mold in the shower. Unfortunately I missed transfer. Very large pool area with a lazy river, fancy buffet in the morning and in the evening, beautiful beach with lovely, warm and clean sea, possibility to snorkel excursions, short walk to the bazaar in mutrah. as mentioned above is a guarantee of the hotel name 'Shangri la' world-wide for the best quality and great service. We found no cause for criticism. For all those travellers next to the beach about the country and its people want to know, it is essential to have a car to rent. It was, as already mentioned, there is a free shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon in a shopping center in the souq of mutrah offered, but you are limited with the return trip bound.
