Hotel Sheraton Luxor Resort

All staff spread a warm atmosphere and hospitality. All eventual wishes read me from the eyes. As a lone traveler German I felt really good. Especially I want to praise the main restaurant (Karnak); there Mr. K. And his excellent team. I thought, that it is the five stars with German abroad and view Africa certainly not and was better instructed. Absolutely convincing facilities, fantastic balcony view of the Nile and the surrounding area, clean, well maintained and drinks and service prices, which are absolutely adequate. We were quite ambivalent, what the review this hotel wise. With a view of the Nile would be the review for certain better canceled, but this would have 15$ a night more cost... So we had a view of the' garden', the US as a bungalow area with noisy air-conditioning units were shown. our room seemed rather small, but always clean. shower curtains in a supposedly such upscale hotel I think a little out of place. The rear view... well... we liked nothing special, but we were not ready for a 'upgrade' with Nile-view more pay. however we were glad... Read more

All in all we had a very nice vacation. But everything is very English guests. Without English you are stranded. The room is furnished with a tv, but except for ZDF one gets unfortunately no German channels. Therefor but many English channels! Cleanliness and friendliness is a priority. The pool staff are responsible therefor, the sunshades always ask, that the sun/shade was desired! What I didn't like was generally in Luxor, was the pushiness of street vendors.
