We had a fantastic in the large hotel. Our room in the 17. Top floor with a balcony and a fantastic view to the beach, pool and Waikiki-beach was fantastic. It was a pleasure from above the many surfers and even sea turtles to watch. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was practically with sufficient storage space. Breakfast was very delicious. Very large, nice hotel on the Waikiki beach. After my 2-week Western United States trip I have five days swimming or relaxing retreat in Hawaii. Of course I wanted a great hotel, right on the beach with ocean view. I was on the 19th floor. I had two balconies, a huge king size bed, a large living/dining area with coffeemaker & fridge, two large plasma tv and a quite large, very modern bathroom with shower. The hotel is huge with very nice pools. From this hotel starts the Waikiki Beach very nice and not as crowded with people as I would have thought. There were enough and Barmöglichkeiten restaurant in the hotel and in the immediate vicinity. Lobby and garden are also very nice. The only downside to the hotel are the rooms with the so-called City and Mountainblick - with these you can hear the hum of the many air conditioners. So to pay more bite and a Ocean or Diamond Head view. Read more

Downside was no WIFI in the guestrooms and the WIFI (which you pay a resort fee daily for) was awful, the lanai on our oceanfront room was dated & the chairs were horribly uncomfortable, the concierge were not helpful & one was downright rude, the outdoor bar near the ocean closed too early (9p. - in October 10
