A large hotel in an area with 5 restaurants and 3 casinos. International guests. The staff of different airlines also stayed here.
The rooms were renovated for the most part. At the time the last floor renovated. In case of a booking so if you insist on a renovated room. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. On request we will send you a free daily newspaper in the room every morning. Water kettle, coffee and tea are in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the Sky Tower. In a few minutes walk to the harbor and the main shopping streets. Very good shopping possibilities around the hotel. Check In / Check out was easy and quick. We were 2 x 1 night in this hotel. The hotel is perfect for a short stay. The condition of our room was good and not worn. The same goes for the amenities. ... much in need of refurbishment. Bathroom, closets, bed were all good standard of the 1980s. Although clean, but rather run-down. The breakfast buffet was very good and rich, was missing some meat or cheese. But in comparison to other hotels there was fresh fruit. The dinner buffet we took in the Sky Tower. Not only the view was amazing, the food is good. Pity about the restaurant directly belongs to the hotel, it would have made the rating very be improved. A free city bus (red) is right outside the front door; this departs every 15 minutes a way round Auckland tip for exploring the city, and is a great help for "Fußlahme". I had a small concern about the orange juice that was served on our breakfast that did not tasted like an orange juice, the restaurant manger Meghan immediately addressed the issue and brought back a class of orange juice that tasted like one. - in January 11
the worst thing that turned to the best thing our room at the skycity was double booked on arrival but the lovely staff at skycity bumped us up tp stay in the 5 star Grand Hotel which was absolutely awesome best trip to auckland ever.
