New Year's eve 2009/2010 we were there and it has fallen us excellent. With the restaurants we have used only the breakfast and the was very good and plentiful. The location is great, directly at the Copa with numerous bars and restaurants. For New Year's eve so, it was ideal. Read more

All in all, a very good city hotel.
Very to recommend.
The view of our room, the to the side street was was unfortunately not so ideal.
One should invest a few more euro or Reals and book a room on the side of Copacabana.

The hotel had their own lounges on the beach with excellent service which included, cold towels, a constant supply of cold bottled water and some fresh fruit salad, there was even someone who come and threw water onto the hot sand to cool it down.

Stayed at this hotel many times, compared to a UK hotel it is, at best, no more than 3 Star, the staff are all very nice but the hotel is now very, very tired and is in urgent need of upgrading, Rio is an expensive city and the rates for the hotel reflect this pricing, the restaurant (French) is very, very expensive however the quality of the food is above average.

The point of a real experienced concierge is not information,it is personal connections,this guy can get you a seat on a fully booked plane and a VIP seat at Carnaval,or a helicopter ride to Buzios.
