Sofitel So Mauritius Bel Ombre is the first boutique hotel of the giant French hospitality group, Accor . It is set in an ecological environment where every effort is taken to preserve the natural beauty of Bel Ombre. Spread across more than 32 acres of land, this resort has access to 540 metres of beach with natural lagoon and corals. The resort is designed by famous designers Kenzo and Lek Bunnag and opened in April 2011.
The resort has 84 suites (60 m2), 6 beach villas (100 m2) and 2 Villa Beaulieu (200 m2), all overlooking the Indian Ocean and all offering 24 hour personal butler service.
This luxury resort has 2 restaurants and a bar. Restaurants offer fresh sea food and the the bar offers Molecular cocktails, one of its kind in Mauritius.

We have married and can only recommend to everyone! All requests were put into practice, no stress and everything was just as we had hoped and dreamt of had. Music, flower arrangements, site and so on everything as we would have liked. The food was very good, only the selection (for not fish/ Meerestierliebhaber) not really so large.

We are by chance in this hotel and have to say, it was absolutely perfect. Admittedly, it is quite remote and without a taxi is more stranded, but the hotel has everything to offer, which one for a fantastic-relaxing vacation needs. The beach was just terrific nice. We are former stretching down and two people meet. Even the beach toilets are so nice, with Muschelwaschbecken and toilets, if not great.
