Hotel was built in 1952 to summer olympic games and it has retained its original functionalist style.
Hotel is in the heart of Helsinki next to the main train station. Hotel rooms are from 6th to 9th floors. In the lower floors is Sokos department store.

The hotel is completely in the modernist 50 's style: the lobby is the heart beat faster each fans Scandinavian design, and the rooms are not less stylish. The spacious rooms are all in the upper floors (below is a department store) and have a fantastic view of Helsinki; this is especially of course for room on the 9th floor with a balcony. The location right next to the main train station (where the airport bus stops) could not be better: Almost everything is in walking distance, the traffic connections were very good. Read more

A real stepping back into the design of the 50ties years. Entirely positive and tasteful. Listed building which was worth it.
