The entire staff is very attentive, polite and friendly. A great view of the Bay of St. Aubin. very good and comfortable seating in the dining area. The menu is varied and the quality of the food was very good. The restaurant was visited by the locals. A reservation for larger groups is highly recommended. Since I was already before the trip to Jersey for this hotel and decided by holidaycheck regarding the size of the hotel rooms was informed, I was surprised not. Average age of the guests seemed also during the stay more upscale our, but not at the 70, but certainly 20 years less ten. The hotel is nice and quiet is located in a very nice location above the harbor of Saint Aubin. It is a real traditional house with style and very good service. The room (we had a room with sea view) was installed in the Victorian style. From the size it was rather small, but sufficient spacious, the bathroom was quite spacious. The Somerville hotel is an old grand hotel medium size. The building is old, but beautiful and quite well renovated. Altogether, the hotel made a very well-kept and rich impression. The guests are mainly from Britain, a few from Germany or Austria. Strange was that the average age of the guests at least 70 and more. Mid 40 with you as a bit out of place. Families with children are not allowed.
