A familiarly operated hotel with typical Austrian charm, situated in a central and quiet location, awaits you. Our 70 bed hotel offers all the comfort and relaxation you could possibly wish for! To make your day even more comfortable we changed our entire sauna area into an island of relaxation and leisure. Our well-kept lawn for sunbathing and terrace in an unblocked, quiet location overlooking the Kitzsteinhorn glacier invite you to relax. Our familiarly operated hotel offers you the right atmosphere for your well-being, relaxation and pleisure.
Hotel location
The alpine town of Zell am See, one of the most beautiful places in Austria, picturesquely situated between Lake Zell and the Schmittenhöhe. Here, where the winding streets are full of life is where your holiday turns into a unique adventure. The glacier ski area, the Kitzsteinhorn, extends up to 3,209 meters above sea level. This guarantees snow all year round, thus making even sun skiing from late spring to autumn a great fun. Out of the 130km of incredible trails in Kaprun-Zell, more than 40km of them have snow-making facilities. The Hotel Sonnblick lies at the center of Kaprun.

In the evening we serve a delicious 5-course menu, where you may choose from 3 main courses (meat, fish or vegetarian). Of course you may help yourself to our generous appetizer- and salad buffet anytime - you may also choose from 3 different soups! Two times a week we offer several a-la-carte main courses for you to choose from. The final highlight in the evening are our desert variations!
Additionally, we offer you our daily wine card with a selection of over 90 wines!

The hotel is although getting old what the spa facilities is concerned, this is however in this spring 2012 rebuilt and replaced. Actually we wanted not! The hotel was simply great and the people over there very nice and accommodating. The village of Kaprun and the winter sports region(e) kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See and saalbach Hinterglemm (the latter a bit too decadent!) were also very nice-high mountain but like.
