On the way to Italy we used the hotel as a stop off/night used. For our needs (we travel with a dog) so nice, it is almost a shame, only a night to relax.
The hotel can be reached via a strongly rising narrow street. The hotel is located outside of kriens. It is the last hotel on this street, so that there is no or hardly any cars. The hotel is directly on beautiful hiking trails.

When my husband asked for an extra pillow at 10PM one evening se looked at him as if …”how can you ask for service at this our?” It was a horrible experience that unfortunately is difficult to forget.

The Hotel is UP the hill behind the station, it is a good climb up pedestrian paths (no roads) but this also gives the hotel its great view over the town, valley, and mountains.

The hotel is located on the sunny side of Grindelwald and although the final 50 meter access road is only for pedestrian and a bit steep, there is a luggage service from the free parking lot down the hotel.
