We wanted to explore the east side of Crete finally and opted for this beautiful, small hotel. It is a little surprising right in the village, but is still a direct access to the beach. The outdoor area was very nicely laid out and the way to the beach, under palm trees by is great. Due to the season and the first Herbststürme was the beach for the most part already built but there are enough beaches in the area. The only drawback is the (evening) Food: there are a variety of excellent looking salads, pastries and meat and vegetables in the hotel restaurant and bar, but a lot was not really seasoned and was therefore quite soon pretty bland.
