Surrounded by spectacular natural countryside, the Es Ratxo Hotel & Spa nestles in the foothills of the Puig de Galatzó Mountain on the Island of Mallorca. Experience a unique stay in this incomparable ambience where nature and peace reign supreme - and immerse you in the most absolute tranquillity. The Es Ratxo Hotel, an original 16th century classical Majorcan manor house, has been recently refurbished maintaining all its original character and offering double rooms and suites of different categories, all of them with spacious terraces.
Hotel location
Take the motorway PM19 to Palma and after 5 km change to motorway PM20 to Andratx. Take exit 7A marked with the sign Puigpunyent and go right until the roundabout with a Cepsa petrol station. Cross the roundabout following the sign Puigpunyent. Stay on this road until you reach Puigpunyent and at the stop sign turn left (to Galilea), passed the church turn right and follow the signs to the hotel.
Gastronomy in the hotel
A restored 16th century oil press is the focal point of today's gourmet restaurant, which is the pride of the hotel. The carefully chosen selection of dishes prepared by our chef are characterised by a mixture of flavours worthy of the most refined palate. In combination with our excellent cuisine, we have a carefully selected wine list to delight our most discerning guests.
Around the swimming pool, the Summer Bar offers an informal menu, which is no less delicious for that, to allow guests to lunch without having pause in their enjoyment of the swimming pool and the fantastic views from the hotel.
Our breakfast room, with its sweeping views of the valley, provides the ideal way to the day with a delicious buffet.

Our Wellness area offers an outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi and nudist area along the path to total relaxation. Das Spa is equipped with:

It is a small Ratxo, remote finca hotel with small, rather dark rooms. The hotel has only tight 20 rooms, peace can be no question. The constant noise of electricity generators and cool/air-conditioning devices is on the whole area and very annoying; the staff was especially in the morning so loud, that we almost every day were woken up. The hotel is located wonderful out of the way, in the middle of the nature( adjoining to a beautiful nature park). To palma is about 30 minutes by car. The hotel area is wonderful, an absolute inside tip for bon vivants the nature and silence. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the level of but rather too expensive (especially the apetisers). Location: the hotel is ten minutes drive from the nearest town in a lonely, very quiet valley. Renting a car is a must if you didn't just want to stay in the beautiful area. To palma airport is 30 minutes early in the morning. Restaurant: unfortunately the restaurant was not enough the whole, the service was super nice, but inexperienced, as well. We had booked a normal double room, due to the month October but the hotel wasn't't fully booked, so we a double room Superior got.
The front desk all wishes were happy about the room to meet.

Seemed rather too few staff even for the v few guests that were there - the waitress is also the barmaid in a different room - -but that may have just been our experience before main season - we didn't care in the slightest having to go at a slow pace so it isn't really the place for finger-clickers, but exactly the place if you want to switch off brain, your adreneline glands and your mobile (although you won't need to as there's barely any service coverage!
