It is indeed a pleasure to wake-up in one of the rooms at the Hotel Sportsman: some have lakeview, balconies or terrace.
The rooms are elegantly furnished and are spacious and comfortable and an ideal place to relax.
All the rooms which are easily reached by lift have bathrooms with shower and wc, toweling-robes, beach towels, hairdryer, directline phone, satellite TV, internet-television, radio, minibar, safe, air-conditioning.
Rooms available include twins, doubles (some single use) and triples to meet all the requirements of our guests. The Junior-suites also have a comfortable living area.
The villa is connected to the hotel by a covered walkway and offers 20 elegant bedrooms which are spacious and attractively furnished.
All have bathrooms with bath, shower and toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satelite TV, internet-television, minibar, safe, balcony and air-conditioning.
The Junior-suites also have a living area.
Service at the hotel
From mind-June to the end of the season our guests can use free of charge the 7 clay tennis-courts at the Tennis Club "Arca" (400 mt) (subject to availability). For the golfer we are happy to offer discounted green-fees at the following clubs: Golf-Club Verona (25 km), Golf Club Villafranca (30 km), Golf-Club Bogliaco (65 km) and Golf Club Franciacorta (83 km).
We also offer free guided excursions on foot or by bike. From 15th September to 15th October it is possible to take the "Grape Cure" in hotel.
Gastronomy in the hotel
With wonderful views over the lake-path and lake the restaurant offers a superb mediterranean and local cuisine including delicious fish and vegetarian dishes.
Meals are served in a relaxing and pleasurable atmosphere where every guest is a special guest.
An impressive wine-list accompanies the menu and please dont hesitate to ask our head-waiter which wines he suggests to compliment your meal.
In fine weather a rich breakfast buffet will be served in the garden or on the new terrace of the villa next-door to the hotel, a pleasurable way to start your day.
In the evening the garden is lit-up creating a magical and beautiful atmosphere.
The bar is open all day and evening for you to enjoy a drink, an aperitif, a cocktail or simply a cup of coffee.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
The position of the hotel means that it could not be easier to reach the private sandy beach where you will find sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas.
We also provide a bar-service on the beach and you can hire motor-boats or sailing boats at an extra charge.
The hotel swimming pool is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas for you to relax and enjoy the sun.
If you fancy taking part in a sport or just prefer to have a massage then this is the place for you.
The hotel Sportsman has a Wellness area and proposes an ecletic programme of services including: sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and gym all for free.
At an extra cost there is also a massage programme including fullbody massage, partial, face-massage, reflexology and Shiatsu massage.
You can rent bicycles and together with your family can explore by bike or on foot the other villages along the lake (to the North to Garda and S.Vigilio and to the South and the villages of Bardolino,Cisano and Lazise).

After the many good reviews on holidaycheck we have with clear conscience the hotel booked. Unfortunately, we wait a bit disappointed.
the sportsman booked, because we the wellness and sports area want to use it. Than we a massage wanted to book, it was called, in the off-season no masseurs in the hotel and therefore someone from a other hotel get should. This should be but at least 2 days before. Since we wrote only 3 days were there, that was of course not possible. Unfortunately. We were very disappointed!

We spent a week at the sportsman of the location, as well as the staff of the hotel. Witr traveled with a ten month baby and has given everyone tried very hard with us:in the restaurant was already on arrival the baby chair and we got the food is a bit faster than the other guests; in the room waiting for a new babyreisebett on our treasure.
