I booked this hotel for 3 nights on my trip. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby made a good impression. It is not a big bunker. Nicely laid out with a good sized pool in the courtyard, and cocktail bar. Everything was very clean and inviting.
The rooms are very large. My agency booked a suite, whatever reason. When I checked in and asked for smoking room, no problem, I was told that the only slightly smaller, if I really wanted that. This lodge is a very nice hotel for a longer stay. The only downside is that the hotel is located behind the Hollywoodhills so by car can be flexible, although the bus just a few meters from the hotel. The rooms are very large with about 40 square meters for two people. However the bathroom a joke but clean. The lobby is generous and includes a small bar with friendly service. I would definitely recommend this hotel! My boyfriend and I stayed in early August for 3 nights, and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very large (with 2 queens), we also had a mini bar and a private balcony. The bathroom was large enough and clean. The hotel staff (especially at reception) is very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I went to a evening for example Dodgers went to the game, and we were very nice at the front desk (about the prices, the best sit etc. ). Ideal for a short stay, as cheap and good location! Gastronomy not appreciated because not used! Great pool! Very friendly staff! Bus connection to Universal Studios and Hollywood! Ralph's grocery store right across the street, and many restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity! Read more
