As a part of our round trip we were only a night in this hotel. We hope the hotel as soon as possible, renovated, because the old charm of the British time doesn't everything away. In comparison to the other we visited hotels in Sri Lanka this was unfortunately the worst. From the long and can but also everything again good. Read more

As a part of our Sri Lanka round trip we were 1 night in the St. Andrew accommodated. Really it seems that the time warp to be, without the the hotel ruins called. The hotel is however badly needed renovation, but not dirty or run down. It has absolutely flair and is very British. The check in went smoothly over the stage. As a welcome drink we were given a art broth enough. We knew not. The fireplace-room and snooker room were very dark decor.

The restaurant is a crypt (windowless, dark with dirty tablecloths, the floor not to mention)-because it is too small, you could have bad luck, in the adjoining room to eat, which was more like a closet than a restaurant. The freshly squeezed orange juice had been watered, cost but five dollars (a steep price for Sri Lanka), the complaint was ignored. The tours are too expensive! Locals like to spend the weekend at the holiday-makers hotel, but other sound proofed rooms tolerances for the 'good night'! The only entertainment, billardspielen,... Read more

Very friendly service, stylish room service. Huge snooker table with competitors crowds, very good hotel, as valuable. Bar with two rooms (smoking 1 room), lounges with fireplace and library. Overall a nice stay in spite of the rain, be... Read more

Very old hotel. The hotel is used by many countries, only for transit purposes to kandy, what led up to the temple rituals that the guests to 4:00 a.m. in kandy to see. There is not more to think about sleeping. Would not more to go. Worlds end was a let down not to recommend only rip-off. nothing to see any animals in the national park. View is even better in the allgäu. Read more
