The hotel has an old facade and new equipped rooms. The size of room was attractive, the furnishing functional. The staff were very competent and friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good. Overall, the hotel was very clean and it has a very good restaurant. The parking garage is particularly geeig -net, the hotel as a stop off when used is, because it is only available for legitimate- gänglich and the luggage can remain in the vehicle. Read more

We were now the second time we have stayed at the stiegl Scala. The hotel is recommended for a city visit to Bolzano. Downtown is about a five minute walk to, to the cable car. 2 minute after Bozen and to the airport 7-8 minute. The guests in the hotel were international and of all ages. We had a double and a single room in the direction of the small lane. In the morning the noise here. The corridor was nothing to be heard. Good location, only a few minutes 'walk from the centre. Breakfast buffet was okay, but no salmon/cheese; buffet rather standard and simple. The new sauna area that can accommodate up to four people was very well equipped, but drinks. Size of room just okay. Ladies at front desk and at the breakfast friendly and helpful; the manager, however, something should be opened and attentive to the guests it, in order to create a pleasant atmosphere. Certainly not a four stars hotel, may have been the new room four star. Our bathroom was mini minutes. Thank goodness we are slim, otherwise would have an exclusive no capacity. The location is great, the breakfast was Aldi or Lidl-moderate. Here, too, absolutely no 4 star... Unfortunately...
