The hotel in general
Location : The Sunflower Hotel, like its sister Hotel the Santana, is situated just a few minutes walk from the picturesque Qawra & Bugibba promenade in the northern part of Malta. The Sunflower Hotel is located in a predominantly residential area, just off the main thoroughfare, Tourist street, and within walking distance to nightclubs, the popular Bugibba center, Casino, a Multiplex Cinema, shops, discos, restaurants, bars and easy access to bus routes connecting the area to numerous cultural and touristic sites around the island.
The hotel, which has six floors, is designed to reflect traditional local architectural features throughout.

Amenities : Indoor pool (heated in winter), whirlpool, treatment room, rooftop outdoor pool with a swim up pool bar, children’s pool and sun terrace enjoying breath taking views of the surrounding country and sea views, Main Restaurant, 24 hr. Internet Cafeteria with occasional live entertainment.

Accommodation: Tastefully finished rustic style bedrooms furnished to offer relaxation and comfort. Accommodation comprises of twin rooms, superior rooms and a number of family suites, all with balcony, aircondition/ heating, en suite bath and shower, cable TV, ceiling fan, hair dryer and safe deposit box (charge). Hairdressing, laundry and room service are also available at a charge.

Meals : The hotel offers a continental Buffet Breakfast with cooked breakfast as an additional option. Dinner is also Buffet Service. In our Main Dining area one can enjoy various theme nights such as Maltese Night and Carvery Night. On the buffets one can also find amongst other choices a vegetarian option, and a selection of regional dishes.

The Sunflower Hotel is situated in a Residential part of the resort of Qawra, St Paul's Bay, just a short walk away from the resort center (Apx 15 minutes walk) to the seafront promenade with it's rocky beach and perched sandy beach. whilst walking to the resort center (Bugibba Square) one will find a variety of restaurants, bars, a cimena is also within walking distance of the hotel as is the main bus terminus where one can get to different parts of the Maltese Islands to explore the sights & sounds Malta has to offer. For those that enjoy a night out at the Casino this is also a short walk away (apx 15 minutes) to the Casino & the Bingo Hall in Qawra. The Sunflower Hotel is a ideal base for scuba divers with some of Malta's best divining schools situated within close proximity of the hotel.

The Sunfloer Hotel offers an enriched continental breakfast and buffert evening meals, light snacks are also available throughout the day. The Sunflower Bar is open till late at night. There is also an internet cafe (at a local Charge) and Wifi & low cost overseas calls will be available in Summer 2010 in the reception area (at a local Charge).. Beauty treatments are also available to book at the hotel (at a local charge). The Sunflower Hotel also has an indoor heated pool (Open in low & mid Season) the Roof top pool is open during the Summer Season.
