We have been regular visitors to the Metropole since 1991 and have always been treated with courtesy by every member of staff throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet menu is outstanding in variety and quality and the five courses served at dinner are always well presented and good value. The accommodation is spacious and cannot be faulted and affords a wonderful unobstructed panoramic view of the mountains. Read more

I think the hotel needs to be refurbished. The furniture at the hall and room looked too worn out. We arrived after 14:00 and had to wait for more than one hour to have the room ready. The women at the desk kept saying that we had to wait just a moment , but kept forgeting about us. Wouldn´t it be nicer to tell the guests to leave the luggage at the hotel and go out for a walk or have a coffee or something to eat, while they prepare the room?.
