We were here for the third time during eined island there bouncing. Here is our 'end', here we find the ideal. Great location, park and above all a highlight of any trip thermal Azores. Our room made a good, renovated impression and the service was good. Adequate breakfast, dinner can be good and cheap in town. A must of course rental car. We will come back and enjoy the end of our holiday here again. The hotel captivates with its architecture and its unique location nestled in a botanical park with a huge thermal. Also in the spa town of furnas is ideal for relaxing holidays as well as the starting point of many walks. The rooms of the hotel in the extension with a garden view are renovated, except for the carpets, must be changed need. The grounds of the hotel, with pool and outdoor area are in need of renovation. The hotel is only three standard, although a four star price is required.

Very nice setting right on the Terra Nostra Garden and natural swimming pool. The staff was friendly. Guest structure: rather older, lots of Germans. The carpet in the general used rooms (corridors, Treppenhaus, ... ) are badly in need of updating, in the room itself it was ok. I was pleased with the hotel and would stay there again book with garden view. Transfer from the airport to the hotel takes PDL about 1 hour and by taxi 40 EURO (including Sunday supplement).

A for azoreanische standards over dimensionally large hotel, located right on a beautiful botanical gardens, is famous for its Baumvielfalt. Close to the road from the rear exit is a natural thermal, although not very looked inviting, but it certainly is (water temperature of 30°C, minerals included very good for the skin). The entire hotel is actually in need of renovation, especially the carpets and bathrooms, but unfortunately there were also in the otherwise acceptable rooms. The hotel is in a good location, right on the Terra Nostra Garden (very large botanical garden, well laid out). In the garden is advertised as also the largest thermal baths on earth. It's really big, but whether it was the largest, I can't say. The entrance to both locations is complimentary for hotel guests (otherwise 5, -€ per day).
