the hotel lies very centrally located, is not too big and not special on. The first impression was' interesting '. The front desk is located directly at the entrance, right next to the bar with some industrious drinking guests. The hotel has a shuttle bus. We had from our voluntary verher hotel called and we were told, that the bus every 2 hours. Unfortunately, it was not. Front desk not helpful and unfriendly with complaints about constant knocking at the door of the night life is just hung up.
Bell boys were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed one night at the Catalina before taking cruise. The room was not very large, and the bed was great, the bathroom mini. But everything is acceptable. The location is very good. The pool at the top of the hotel are ok and the sun beds are comfortable. The beach chairs at the beach were available free of charge, for an umbrella on the beach you would pay 5 USD. After several complaint's with numerous MOD's the best they could do was send us a non-sympathetic letter with a 50 dollar voucher for the same restaurant, we received poor service from the night before, due to our waitress having to serve the majority of the restaurant because of being under-staff. - in April 11
If you consider staying at 2 Star hotel for 3 nights at a price of $1,100, with poor service, and un-accommodating MOD staff, that lacks professional and communicational skills, in a location similar to Las Vegas strip, then this is the hotel for you.
