The hotel is located directly across from the parks.
You can take the free tram to the city center.
We did not use the restaurant, the prices were moderate though.
We stayed at the Italian restaurant next door Fasta pasta, good price/performance ratio.
The trip to Kangaroo Island we did not like. It was stressful for a day, in the morning at six o'clock it started and we are around 19 hours flown (the normal transfer is to take the ferry) only 15 minutes for kangaroos and koalas. We have spent way too much time in the bus. Read more

... the bathroom from the size correct also here: a renovation would be appropriate. Balcony available but there is no separation from the neighbors to the name of a open all around balcony means. Breakfast buffet was very good for Aussie standards, next to were also warm English breakfast meats and cheese in the offer. Cereals, sweets and jams and of course toast. The hotel has its own restaurant which we didn't use it, there are two good and cheap restaurants (Italian and Vietnamese) in the immediate vicinity otherwise there were in the city. Read more

I thought the location was very good as can walk to city casino with noreal effort and its only 10 bucks in cab back the hotel is showing its age and is in big need of refurbishment staff were friendly on site free parking is a big plus maybe a bit expensive for rating i thought but sure its comfy its a room a bed telly shower stayed in better for same price and as well have stayed in worse for same price .
