But very clean, very friendly staff, super location to the city center, the park etc....
And in the proportion reasonably priced!

The Congress Plaza hotel in Chicago is located only a few 100 meters from the shores of lake Michigan.
the hotel is downtown Chicago on foot best explore.
15-minute walk away is the Chicago river.
the hotel room offer very lots of space and are comfortable furnished. However I must say, that the furnishing a little outdated, and our hotel room somewhat poor furnished was.
but I in no way disturbed and I would also due to the cheap prices the nights recommend this hotel.
A large plus point I give the bed.

The ceremonial hall with its stucco ceiling and let the hallways actually suspect you would have to go in a 4 star hotel. The rooms are good size, very clean and a new booth. In some places like in the entrance area or the notdürftigen besides one store within range, we noticed however that the Congress Plaza here and there is a bit old, which didn't really bother us.
