The ' the Equus' was the first hotel hawaii, which we inhabited and on our 4 week trip is still a other (on Kauai) the cleanest and the best accommodations in Hawaii.
The location is absolute Cream, the view of 'Honolulu at night' is grandios.
The room was very clean, well equipped and equipped.
The breakfast in the lobby was however a farce.
In a 5 times 5 meters large room one morning with tens of persons squeezed inside and all breakfasts there was only a (broken) toaster.

Found the hotel on the Internet. The price was 50 dollars on the Internet under the, what we wanted. Then they negotiated and got a very good deal! TIP! Hotel is just a Waikiki-Hotel. Quite noisy. I would not sleep without ear plugs. Until about 15 minutes to Waikiki centre. Ten minutes to the beach, shopping just around the corner.
Were overall satisfied.
