Grande dame hotel. The whole decor (room, bathroom, pool area) would have a renovation urgently necessary. Plastic makeup mirror of the 70er years, old carpets and wallpaper, dark room...
Very good location close to the Robson street. For a shopping and sightseeing stay gives it still nicer and cheaper in Vancouver hotels. Read more

The hotel is a fair Mont something older, it has but its own flair. The location is just great, you can walk to do everything. From the Airport you can with the new canadian line (to 7.50, back 2.50 CAD) drives us must only a few minutes to walk to the hotel. The fitness and pool area was great, the fitness equipment are all fairly new. We had a problem at check-in, because our names were not at the hotel. They helped us very much. We had still to Internet access (for a fee), have something to say this but without a coupon for almost the dou... Read more

The hotel is one of the oldest buildings in Vancouver. Although it is surrounded by all the skyscrapers, was a very impressive size. The hotel has 15 floors and many rooms. It was renovated several years ago. It is not the most up to date hotel, but it has a wonderful charm. The hotel is clean and the service was great. Only the spa-area could be a little bit better maintained. The guests are from 40 upwards.
The rooms are huge. We had a room with dressing room and a small connecting rooms outside of the bathroom and even though we had book... Read more

The hotel makes a very venerable family tradition impression and is located in the center of downtown Vancouver. The hotel is very large, the service was anonymous (but then "standard" friendly). The guests were very mixed, a few my opinion business as well as vacationers.
The room (Fairmont room) was on the 4. Floor, the size was absolutely sufficient for 2 people. The rooms can vary in size, our second room (also Fairmont room) was about 1m broad. The facilities include a large LCD TV, mini bar, two telephones, and a large walk in closet... Read more

... but the rest ... The ladies at the reception are not friendly or accommodating, the handling of many guests (coach parties staying) is also not unlike the package holiday in Mallorca. however in the bar never stopped in countless screens, this is very unstylish and didn't disturb any entertainment. Room has a tray with numerous Articles (U. A. stuffed animal etc. ). Unbelievable but true: already the raise this Article will by sensors in the tray electronically and leads to the calculation!! Rates did not appear on the articles, even the... Read more
