Hotel in general
- Fantastic price

The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the free internet assess was a plus since it helped me to keep in touch with my family in Minnesota.

I'm not super crazy about the Pioneer Square location because I usually tend to spend time around the Pearl and NW 23rd part of Portland, but undoubtedly the hotel is beautiful and extremely well designed The lobby, lounge and rooms are all beautiful and the rooftop bar is incredible.

Everything from the entrance to the bathroom makes you feel that you are staying in a luxury hotel.

First I'll mention the cons: the hotel had one entrance that was a small entry way with about 4 elevators, this entry way was also the entrance to a popular bar among yuppies and pretentious snobby types that is on the 15th floor of the hotel via the same elevators.

They have a complimentry shoe shine service and 24 hour room service, we ordered room service on my bday and I got there filet mignon which was 50$, it was good though it wasnt worth the high price due to its over seasoning and undercooking.

If only they had a seperate entrance for the bar upstairs so that the hotel guests wouldnt have to put up with their drunken antics this hotel would be great.

The decor is super cute and the city view is awesome, plus there is good shopping literally across the street, however Im a big sephora, H&M, and Urban outfitters fan and portland had none of these, actually on the other end of town there is supposed to be an urban outfitters but we never made it that far out of the downtown area.

On the plus side when I asked to switch rooms since the first room we got had two full size beds rather than the one king bed we asked and payed for, not to mention it was after all my birthday weekend and we were to be there for 3 nights, they were very accomidating about the room change, they upgraded me free of charge to a city view room on the 7th floor which was small but lovely and cozy. - in May 10

Portland is a wonderful, urbane, small city, and this hotel is in the middle of downtown, surrounded by good shopping, light rail, and the arty Portland street scenes. - in May 10
