A great centrally located city hotel, the old town is reachable, the metro station is right in front of the door, but the hotel wasn't't worth four stars, especially the rooms not. These are very, very noisy and very small. A photo of our view, I have also set, since the inner courtyard is from air conditioning. I was here for a 3 day city break. The hotel is in a great starting point, to the north is less than five minutes, the underground is only a stone's throw away. The famous attractions can be reached easily with public transport. The staff, is relaxed and pleasant mood. For me, there were no complaints in the areas. If I return to Brussels, my choice is to think long on this hotel. Read more

Location and price were ok, right next to the shopping area of Brussels and within walking distance to North Train Station (from there 15 minutes by train to the airport).
The hotel itself had already seen better times and in my opinion worse, at least my room - was not really clean.
Relatively small (but for overnight sufficent) room with typical hotel furnishings in good condition. The mattress was extremely soft ...

I booked this hotel based on price alone, and was pleasantly surprised that it: 1) Was located near the metro 2) Was walking distance from the Grand Place (about 15 min through the shopping district) 3) Was a block and a half from the botanical gardens 4) Had a hop-on tourist bus stop directly outside the door 5) Had a great cafe next door In addition to all that, the staff were friendly and courteous, the rooms were clean and the price was right. - in April 10

In summary, Brussels is a very expensive city to stay and, considering the quality of the rooms and the service of the Thon Hotel City Centre, I think it is a very good place to stay if on a business trip that requires that you be around the City Centre, which was my case.
