Tisara Villas comprises of nine villas set in a beautiful tropical garden. The Villas are located in the southern town of Koggala.
Each villa has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with attached baths, dining room, living room, kitchen, veranda and private garden. There is a very large pool, Ayurveda massage center and laundromat.
Hotel location
Located 600 metres from the beach in the southern town on Koggala, Habaraduwa. Villas offer a tuk-tuk shuttle to Koggala Beach Hotel.
Service at the hotel
Each villa offers full room service with daily cleaning of villa, bed linen and towels. The villas have a manager and fully trained staff at your service.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Our highly skilled chefs come to the villa and prepare your meals. You can order from the a la carte menu. Guests are also free to cook for themselves as there is a fully equipped kitchen.
There is no dedicated restaurant or bar in the villas. Guests are served meals in their villas or anywhere in the garden. The kitchen is also stocked with beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks. Spirits can be ordered before arrival. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol at no extra charge.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Large swimming pool, ayurveda massage center in the premises. Famous Koggala beach is only 2km away and Unawatuna is 4 km away where you can scuba dive. Whale watching in Mirissa is only a 20 minte drive away.
Other attractions include visits to the rain forests, safari in the wild life parks, visits to spice gardens, temples and to the UNESCO heritage Dutch fort in Galle.

I stayed a week during the Galle literature festival in january 2011 in Tisara Villas with my new husband. we didn't know what to expect as we were going there due to freind recommendations. But what a lovely surprise it was! From the time we walked through the gates and over a pond full of lotus and a wooden bridge it was like entering a different world!!!

Tisara Villas it's a small resort of only 10 villas, an amazing paradise in Sri Lanka. For sure, the best Hotel in Sri Lanka. Excellent ration between quality and price. Located in a beutiful tropical garden. The villas are really bigs (nearly 200m2 each one) and you have also a private garden.
Rooms very big and confortable. Typical bed with canopy. Excelent bathrooms in suite.

Namal the cook comes to the villa everyday and cooked us food that we ate either in the terrace or in the dining room and sometimes by the pool. They made special things for the children which was nice.
The food is excellent. The chef Namal is superb and thinge he made are so tasty and I can't believe they serve such good food for such a low price.
